In 1983 Casio introduced the first watch according to their Tripple-10 concept. The Casio G-Shock DW-5000 waterproof up to 10 bar, drop-proof to 10 meters and 10 years battery life. At the time, this G-Shock was innovating the wristwatch game with its indestructible craftsmanship and modern look. In 1987 the model slightly changed with a different module and dial, this model became the DW-56000C, which you can still buy to this day. Casio chose to use quite exotic materials to have this watch stand out and to give it specific qualities.
